Wondering if there's a good tool that calculates duplicate content

Do you recommend any reliable and trusted tools out there that calculate the percentage of duplicate content between two pages? I've found [duplicatecontent.net...] but I'm wondering if it's results are a good indicator of a page being too much like another page.

I basically need a tool like this to make sure that the content I create isn't going to be flagged as being too much like another site.

Haha while looking for one I found Copy Scape, do not use it, it is trash. It says it will "protect your site" by having you put an image and link, on your site, which links back your site.

I have seen trusted tools calculate the percentage of duplicate content between two page. As we know that if google catch our duplicate content then it keep in spam folder. It may be possible that it penelized our site. so far away to duplicate content.

I'm using a tool which is free and is also recommended by seomoz hope it works for you [webconfs.com ]

I think Copyspace is good and there is no problem in using that because there are many other tools which i know personally are not good enough.

I don't have any inside info, but I'd guess Google has better duplicate content checking tools than what you can buy yourself. I'd guess they are also trying to spot variations on pure dupes, like "spun" content, etc.

Like sonu, I am also using [webconfs.com...] to determine the percentage of similarity between two pages.

There are lots of tools are available for checking the duplicate contents.But the main problem with them is that you need two pages to compare.We are checking the duplicacy of the content before posting.If we know where it is then why we will post that content.So, its better to write your own or if you are getting from some where then try to modify it.
