I've heard alimama and baidu pays well for chinese traffic.

Till not they do not allow non Chinese sign up. Anyone can partner up and make money?

What's your share?

Alibaba has an English directory service that has been in place for many years. [alibaba.com...] They allow you to set up profiles and trade with other members.

They have a similar service in Japanese [alibaba.co.jp...]

There are companies that offer English interfaces for Baidu's PPC system.

You don't have to be Chinese to use any of these services.

Are you sure?

English interface for Baidu PPC system is for advertisers. Not for publishers. Also I want to sign up to alimama. Not alibaba.

Yes, I'm sure about the Alibaba directories and the Baidu PPC services. You don't have to be Chinese to use them.

However, you're not asking about them, are you. Alimama [news.alibaba.com] is Alibaba'a advertising exchange. You want to sell your ad space to these networks?

Anyone have experience from the publisher side for Baidu or Alibaba ads?

That's the thing. I have plenty of chinese traffic I want to monetize and I've heard they are best on those. They do not allow non chinese publisher to sign up.

I have experience working with Alimama as an advertiser, not a publisher. For advertising, they will only work with "high reputation" sites, but publishing their ads should be an easier process. There are many other affiliate networks you can grab ads from, but few speak English.

I'm running an Internet company in Shanghai with a business license and Chinese team. I can maybe give you some advice or partner with you in someway if your traffic is legit. PM me if you like.

take one of my sites for example, adsense may pay 200 USD (about 1365 RMB) per month, but baidu union only 500 RMB.
same site, same position, but different pay.

Hmm... Can anyone confirm whether adsense is better than baidu if the site is in English?

Also what about if the site is in Chinese? Does adsense pay less or more?
