I installed AWStats but want my website to appear on search engine, not sure if it is blocking it. If so, how do I unblock them?

No analytics package should stop any search engine crawler from doing what it is meant to.

AWStats does identify and detect robot behavior, but I'm not sure if it blocks them.

It doesn't count search engines bots towards your stats. It only looks at the log files I beleive, so I don't think it even has that capability.

Indeed, AWstats only analyses log files and does not contain any feature to block clients.
