How to track form submisison using Omniture SiteCatalyst

Hi all,

I am new to Omniture SiteCatalyst. I would like to know about the "Custom Event" tracking method for tracking form submission. The main goal of the website is submitting a "Request a Quote" form which do not have a separate "Thank you" page. The "Thank you" message displays on the same URL of the form. Is " Custom Event " tracking the best method to track the form submisisons? If so, how to implement it in the website?

Yes, you can use a custom event to track this. If you do not have a confirmation page you would have to program it by firing the event at the same time you send the thank you response from your server back to that page.
