I am looking into purchasing omniture, but during my meeting with omniture I couldnt really see a clear difference between google analytics and what omniture has to offer. In what ways do you think they're different?
Which one provides better more detailed reporting?
My response to this question is another question: What position are you in for web analytics?
I know it might not be a super definitive answer, but what you need to implement should compare to what you are prepared to do in web analytics, what market you are from, and other important factors.

I use both google analytics and omniture, and I prefer omniture because you can track all your KPI's on natural search keywords and is a bit more detailed.
For instance, if I want to see how many orders a natural search keyword has produced I can do it. On google is a little more complicated.
Personally, if you want great level of detail go for omniture, if not use google.
