I have been looking at my logs for my blog. i have noticed that recently i am getting sites linking to my site that have an extension of /map.html when i go to the website it looks like a bunch of cialis drug crap. i am also noticing logs of cialis and viagra in the site statistics. i am using awstats as my tracking software. does this mean someone is using my server for bad stuff?

This is known as referrer spam. Basically, they pretend that there is a link on their site to yours in order to:

- Get clicks from curious site owners
- Hope that some links get published as a result of showing up in log files (some people's website stats are publicly accessible)

So, it's safe to ignore, and difficult to avoid. You could try to ban them, but this is unlikely to work particularly well.
