how do I know how much incoming traffic I have?

Recently I was using alexa...but I have come to know that it takes data from only those sites which have the alexa toolbar installed.

Is there any other way I can check the traffic?

If you don't have the ability to do a log analysis, look into Google Analytics for something basically free with a ton of features.
