where to buy (cheap) CPM traffic

Hi
I would like to try to buy some CPM traffic for my site, because bidding on adwords is always very expensive. Is there any place where you can buy cheap cpm traffic? I know conversions won't be so good on banners, but if I can find lots of cheap traffic, maybe the final cost per user will be lower than the google one.

Any idea/useful link?

Keep in mind that you get what you pay for. Expect a lot of nonconverting traffic.

I don't have a recommendation where to run inexpensive CPM campaigns, but a place like autosurf.com doesn't seem like a smart place to start.
