Hi,
I'm a client, not a developer. Years ago, I hired a developer to build a very robust online application for scheduling work shifts. He built the program for the FreeBSD OS v7.4 - which is what the hosting company used for their independent servers. Coding includes Apache, JavaScript and HTML. The developer has gone out of business and cannot be located. The web-hosting company has raised their prices a lot while lowering their support. So, I'm thinking of moving my app to GoDaddy. They use CentOS 6 for their independent servers. Since this is a very complex app as opposed to a website, I'm concerned about all of the functionality working. Has anybody has experience with migrating from FreeBSD to CentOS? Thx.
