Is it more complicatied to test web applications or static web sites?

I am wondering which is more complicated to test for accessibility: an interactive web application or a static informational web site? Is one more complicated than the other to test? What are the differences in testing procedures? Similarities?

Are some applications more complicated test for accessibility than others, or does it not matter how complex the application is?

Hi lilydale, sorry it took so long to get a reply to your question. As you probably guessed, the problem with testing an online application versus a static site is the quantity of work required to test the functionality. A static website has a fixed set of accessibility challenges, where the basic criterion to to simply "access" the data.

A dynamic site involves testing a range of processes in relation to different disabilities. Whereas color-blindness gives similar problems for both static and dynamic sites, motor deficiencies can make interacting with dynamic sites a challenge.
