Is it just me, or has LinkedIn suddenly started sending emails for every change amongst contacts.

It's got to the stage where the numbers of missives are so frequent that i'm thinking of just sending them to the trash without even looking.

Too many missives turns people off.

It's not just you. That's one reason I cancelled my LinkedIn account. Life's too short!

Stuff like that ended up pushing me to close my LinkedIn account. The email notifications kept coming. I then had to reopen my account, turn off all notifications and close my accout again!

I Don't want to cancel the account, but I do want to make it less intrusive.

Ahhh, right, there's a notifications option. I'll go look at that.

If that doesn't work, LinkedIn will be added to a reg ex filter.

It's not just you. Too many missives over the years have prompted me to turn off most of LinkedIn. With LI, though, you always have to guess what you're going to lose when you shut down a "feature", because they don't clearly relate these features to functionality: "You mean, you don't want to get crucial news about important events and influencers in your network?"

...there's a notifications option...
I've been reluctant to cancel too, even though the free version is basically crippleware. I think I've managed to limit most of anything I've wanted to continue to once a week, though there are some categories where I still get several messages a day.
