maybe it'll go down, but his clicks are still going to have a negative effect on your ROI. If you ask for a refund make sure you have evidence - dates, screenshots of your analytics program etc. make it easy for yahoo.

they will nearly always say no to a refund the first time, sometimes the second, but keep at them and you should get a refund with a bit of luck.

I agree with the previous post. There has been an upsurge in click fraud on my Yahoo account recently and it needs to be monitored and refunds requested.

I got the following 'template' back from them.

Is it me, or are they asking for things, that they think I won't have, so can get out of any such refund? I'm thinking YES.

Why the hell do they need to know of any additions I've made, if it's regarding a single keyword? Call me cynical, but I'd go as far to say that Yahoo actually favour click fraud - if they are getting their money that's all they are bothered about.

they are fully aware click fraud is going on at a considerable scale. they also make a lot of money from it.

for yahoo its about finding the right balance - allow it to a certain extent to make money from it, but not so much as to put people off advertising.

of course publically they will always say 'we have a number of different mechanisms to protect you from click fraud' etc...

I have temporarily suspended my yahoo account till they get to grips with this. Something odd has been happening recently and I am getting high CTR's with too many clicks based upon previous experience.

Why don't they do THE OBVIOUS and allow us to exclude IPs from seeing our ads like you can with Google? I know Google are far cleverer than Yahoo but still, it's an absolute no brainer.

There is another thread in this forum about not being able to do Yahoo search only as you can with google. I found Yahoo helpful in the end but as soon as I tried to restart my ad programmes the click fraud began again, so for now they (and the fraudsters) are not getting any money from me.

I had to do some chargebacks on yahoo because of this. Needless to say i don't think yahoo disputed them.

Blows me away they're so stubborn that they have forcasted strong growth over the next year. Strong growth in FRAUD if you ask me.

With AdCenter producing very little traffic .. and Yahoo seemingly 'Pro Fraud', I think me using Adwords for most of my budget is the correct way to go.
