Its official.

I spoke to someone at Yahoo yesterday on the phone and they will not show adult content ads on www.yahoo.co.uk anymore, they say they have always had this rule in place apparently, probably never noticed in over 10 years then!
Its obvious they have some new fuddy duddy bosses in place now who have clamped down with the new panama system.
No wonder there profits are down by 11%

Anyone else affected by this?

I do find it interesting that these companies do not take the money from that industry.

The other thing I wonder is whether or not that they realize that the people looking for those ads, may look at other search engines to find what they are looking for.

Are there any laws in the UK that would influence this?

Microsoft has always had a tight policy on adult ads, but somehow there is one company who was grandfathered in years ago who shows up for numerous generic adult searches. Does not make sense to me.

It looks like Yahoo have had a change of heart, the ads are showing as normal today.
