Does Yahoo Overture have any plans to revamp its interface?

It is unbearable

I have used dozens of PPC search engine interfaces over the years, but Overture's remains the worst. There are so many frustrations with it, I dread logging into our account. Just to make the smallest change can end up wasting half an hour. For example, if you have a long list of keywords you wish to edit the title/description of one by one, if a single one is incorrect it will reset all of them, including the acceptable ones.

I have put up with Overture for years, but will not do so anymore unless they update their interface. Does anybody know if they have plans to do so?

I totally agree with you...

...but if you logged into your account anytime in the last 6 months you would have noticed the ad on the front page saying they are revamping the entire system.

It was supposed to launch this month,
but they've pushed it back to next quarter.

You may want to check your spam filter...
I got about 4 emails from them over the past few months,
hyping me about the "New Yahoo!".

It's coming...
will it be better?

Who knows.

Just came back from SES SJ. On Tuesday, Yahoo presented their new PPC. It's not just an overhaul of Overture; it's an entirely new tool.

- Much better interface. Actually, a pretty good interface.

- The best features from Google and adCenter, plus a few new features.

- Rolling rollout over the next four months. Users will get to testdrive it and then choose to switch.

- In Q1/07, Overture will switch to CTR+Quality score for bid position. This is a RADICAL change from Overture, where you "buy" your position. No more easy positioning. You'll have to write good ads, etc. to get ranking.

You'll be getting lots of emails from Yahoo as they roll this out.

The best bit about this is that you will actually be able to see your QS. None of this cr*p like Google where you guess but really you have no idea how your QS is or how to improve it. I'm looking forward to Panama :)
