Since I've been off line for nearly a year, because of health problems, I've been trying to catch up about GDPR, and cookie things,

I am check the sites of the German, UK and French regulators because they seem to be the most picky, so I assume that, following their recommendations, should be fine, and pretty safe.

I've been already compliant "before", and the new regulations is fine with me, (hopefully), but I am wondering about the evolution of the cookie consent procedure.

I read different things, for example, at the European level, it looks like that, in a near future, it will no longer be publishers (sites) having to collect the consent from the users ,but this will be handled by the web browser itself. Which I think is thousands of time better for everybody. But, in the other hand, I read an article, claiming that the French CNIL will impose new rules about the Cookie consent banner, with 5 questions (I don't know which) that users will have to answer explicitly.

So I am getting confused (which lead me to the other topic I opened, asking if there is GDPR compliant ad network, including their use of cookie, in order to be "safe").
