Does anyone know about the situation of media.net regarding the upcoming EU GDPR? I can't find a single thing about it, and when I write to them, I don't get answer at all.

I write to them, I don't get answer at all.
That was my experience with them as well, but then I don't get personal replies from Adsense either since I'm not a big fish.

Until media.net was acquired, I had quick answers, even when I was no longer displaying their code.

In fact, sine media.net was acquired it looks totally abandoned from an assistance and feature point of view.

I am surprised that with all the talks about GDPR, there is a not a single word on the subject from Media.net ?! This Topic, here at WW is the only reference to Media.net and GDPR now :)

That's because Media.net sucks. I am not going to try them after the horrid experience with their support team.

I guess that the guy who bought media.net for almost one billion was screwed.

We're not hungry for your users' data because we don't depend on cookies to deliver relevant ads. #NoCookiesNoProblem #GoContextual #MediaNetAds
But there is something which is bothering me. They do create a cookie for the site on which the ad is running. It bothers me, because, in my privacy policy, I am "proud" to say I do not use cookie, so seeing that media.net creates a cookie at "my" domain, is bothering me, especially since I can't tell what this cookie is made for. (and they didn't tell me).
I may explain it badly sorry, but for example, when you insert an adsense ad, they create a cookie associated to the domain "googleads.g.doubleclic.net" whereas media.net creates a cookie at their own "contextual.media.net" domain but also another cookie at "my" domain name. And it's bothering me.
