Hi everyone :)

I'm a French Web designer with +12 years experience in Web Design and Web programming, all self-taught both in Web agencies and as a freelance Web Designer as well.

I absolutely need to get a Master's Degree in the field for some reason.

The problem is that I would like to do it exclusively online.

Unfortunately, no french universities provide Master's Degrees exclusively online.

So, would you know about a university who could provide such a service whatever the country?

Of course, the diploma must be recognized anywhere in the world (especially in Japan since I'm trying to emigrate there)

Thanks in advance! :)

at a wild guess, i'd say the OP means recognised and accepted by the japanese government, as i suspect they want to use it as part of their application to emigrate there

topr8 is right.
No need of a Master's Degree that is considered a useless sheet of paper in most countries :)

The Open University based in the UK is the most respected way to get online degrees here. They are recognised around the world.

A quick check though shows that they don't have courses specific to website design although they do have three ICT / IT degree courses. Be aware though, to get your Undergraduate degree will take three years of study. If you then want to go onto a Masters (and the OU does them) you will need to study a further one year at least, possibly two.

This is not some undertaking to take lightly, it will take serious effort over a period of years and will cost you. If you are working at the same time, a six year time frame is likely.

Thanks nomis5 :)

First, I can't afford spending more than one year on such a thing.
Second, I really need one dedicated to web design/development

I've found one in the US from the University of Denver but it costs an arm : $24,336

Unfortunately, I can't spend more than $6,000 on this :(
