Good inexpensive Video hosting?

I've got a reseller account at a web hosting company, where I have about 20 or 30 accounts, about half of which are mine, and half of which belong to clients and friends, etc.

I want to add video to a couple of the sites (one client wants a video of him welcoming visitors), but I keep looking at a basic problem:

Bandwidth.

Video (even small and optimized) is big. I've thought to upload video to YouTube or Vimeo or whatever, and then embed it into the business web page, but then the user will either see the YouTube logo, or be able to go watch other videos at the end of the file. I don't want that.

Can anyone recommend good expensive video hosting sites?

Thanks!

Welcome aboard borderlessnz . . .

I don't want that.

It's time to stop thinking about what you want and start really thinking about what your users want. They are going to do what they want to anyway, the more you help them, the more they will tend to return. Try to control them, and they will never come back.

If you don't want to pay for bandwidth, go ahead and use YouTube. It won't kill your site. Everyone knows about it anyway, what's to stop them from saying, "ah this site is okay, but you know what? I'll bet I'll find more on YouTube. . . "

The other advantage is it makes your work a lot easier and all your YouTube videos will be searchable via the YouTube site. So it's all good . . .

Thanks for the reply! But perhaps I should clarify.

It's not just a video that's being uploaded... the client wants to integrate video of himself into his site. So, for example, it's not just the standard size of the video -- it's got to fit into the sidebar of the page.

It would be a strange look-and-feel issue if the video then opened up to other YouTube videos. It's not about controlling the user -- it's about designing the page and delivering it effectively.

YouTube really doesn't work for that, unfortunately.

Inexpensive video hosting? Any ideas?

I still think you might be missing something. One of the freelancing sites I work with allows a YouTube video, and it's only 160 px X 120 px with play controls, which is pretty small (no more than two inches wide.) I can't imagine the sidebar being more narrow than that. There are no links to other videos, clicking the video only gives you play or replay. True, you have the YouTube watermark, but as for the rest of it, you'd just encode a 160 wide video and upload it, embed it in your page . . . makes your job much easier.
