how large is a "large file"?
are the email addresses verified?
how big is your list of sendees?
there are several services that do this - it's easy to find them in a search.
there are often limitations for file size, file type, bandwidth, etc.
some require a client, some just store the file for pickup, ...

which service that is free?

if you want to send a "come and get it" email, that's different from a service that sends an email attachment.
if the file gets large enough you have problems uploading through http protocol and you also have email delivery problems if you are sending it as an attachment.

i'm not recommending a specific service but i would look at the ones that show up when you search for "email free large files" or "Free Online File Transfers" and use the one that meets your requirements.

I think it's important to know how large is large like Phranque asked previously.

Even if there is such a thing as a free service to do this, your video will still be bound by the recipients ISP requirements for file size, many have limits on what they will accept.

Any reason why you don't just send them a link to the video via email? I'm sure most people would appreciate that versus receiving an unsolicited large video file in their email.

And also depending on the e-blast scheme, you can embed identifying information in the link on a per-email basis. Certainly you could use server logs.

So, I would suggest a link over an embedded video is a win for both you and the recipient.
