I know this will upset some, particularly the html purists! I'm doing a website for a photography club. Each member will have their own subdomain in order to upload a gallery of 6 or 8 of their pictures. The aim is that they should be able to upload their own images and descriptions. Some of these people will never get html and don't want to. I'm looking for a cheap and relatively easy way for them to do it. Any suggestions?

Sounds to me like you might be better off with a CMS setup, but if it's WYSIWYG you're after then we have an entire forum [webmasterworld.com] dedicated to the topic. You can read through there to get a feel for what people are using.

Netscape has given away a free WYSIWYG for years and I believe they still do. Do a search for Netscape Composer - non commercial, no cost.
