SPAM - ugh

I use yahoo mail as a central destination for managing my e-mail.

Recently it seems a spammer has taken one of my domain contact e-mails to use in his "From:" field. As a result I've been receiving hundreds of bounce-back e-mails from mailboxes in China.

I've painstakingly tried to highlight them as they come in and mark them as "SPAM". My question is: does the Yahoo spam filter get any smarter? Or has the highlighting and marking been in vain?

TIA

"Bounces" are not spam. They are automated replies informing you that the "To:" address was not valid. The automated handler that generates the "bounces" does not know if your "From:" address was munged, so it does not know if it is sending the "bounces" in error. This is legitimate mail, albeit in response to illegitimate mail (directed at some third party).

I would doubt that this legitimate mail would soon get blocked as being spam. I could be wrong, of course....
