alright i have just created a site which toke me about 7 months to complete and added adsense to all the pages just last week. it does look like the site can make some good money with adsense with one more thing: lots of traffics!
and here's my question: i have just "registered" with google and several more search engines and noticed that some spiders visited my site....but i have not seen any users came to my site through search engines yet, not even google...although if i search from google using my domain name the site does come on top of the result list...(yahoo still is saying that my site does exist! how annoying!)
how long, usually, does it take the traffic to increase and become stable? this could be a really stupid question i know but ... i guess many of you went through this too and i wonder what your experience is...
thanks
* How searched-for is your site's topic and keywords?
* Have you got any inbound links?
* Is your site's content original and index-worthy?
* Are people likely to link to any of your pages?
* Have you attempted to promote the site in any way?
You can't just "build it and they will come"; you do need some level of proactivity. I'd suggest starting to do some research on SEO topics. Check out Aaron Walls's SEO Book blog, that's one of many good resources.

You probably want to post your question over here - [webmasterworld.com...]
Yours is more of a SEO question than an AdSense question.
I am brand new here and brand new with this adsense thing...
created this account few days ago half sleeping and made a typo...blurblade...haha..sounds so stupid
It sounds like you probably should forget about AdSense for a while and get your site established. Then when you're awake and ready to be serious, read through these forums and learn all you can about AdSense and then read the AdSense Terms & Policies carefully.
Then consider testing AdSense on your site in a limited scope.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of mercy built into participation of the AdSense program. When you read through prior threads here on Webmaster World, pay special attention to the "I've been banned from AdSense" threads. You don't want to end up like that.

Well...yes and no. I agree with that 95%, the only reason it would be bad to not put on Adsense is if your site layout isn't very flexible. Some sites ads can be thrown around anywhere but others you have to design for the ads because it would mess up the entire layout putting them in later.
I say put them in at the beginning. Just never click them, never tell your friends to click them, never tell anyone to click them...and expect no money for a long time.
After nine months I started to see them climb. It was a full year before my site was on the first page for most of the phrases I wanted.
Traffic for the first few months was almost nonexistent. After six or so months I was up to maybe 20,000 visitors a month. Then 30,000 and then 40,000. The way things were going I predicted 100,000 visitors by March of 2005, and I was spot on.
By March of 2006 I hit 200,000 a month. By March of this year I hit almost half a million.
Patience and tenaciousness pay off. I'm actually able to make site my sole source of income now.
