There's talk it may arrive in V8.1, and it couldn't come soon enough, imho. The vulnerabilities in WiFi are just too many, and by obfuscating the data means it'll be tougher for those bad actors to abuse their power.

My LG V20 came with Android 7.0. I've had 2 lengthy OS updates but the version number hasn't changed, which I thought curious.

Since the phone was just released when I bought it and is less than a year old, it should support 8.+.

After reading about KRACK I started disabling WiFi when not at home to block public hotspots. My 4g mobile network is just as fast and *almost* unlimited (after 4 gigs of data transfer it throttles down to 3g but doesn't run out.)

You probably rely on a modified version of Android from LG, and it's been updates to their version you've been getting.
