I've got a backup of my C drive as a single ISO file (image file). It's about 16GB and I want to save it on my 64GB pen drive.
I believe I've made that device bootable (after following the advice on such sites as [
bootdisk.com...] . I chose method 2, and instead of paying the (required contribution), I found the file free by just googling (in case that helps others looking to make their thumb drives bootable too).
However, after all that work in making that drive bootable, it turns out that I have a more basic problem I need ur creative solution for (thank you):
The prob is that, even though I have a ton of space on that new pen drive, the 16GB iso file won't copy over because perhaps the file is too big, so says something like not enough space on the drive. So does anyone have any tricks so that I can get my ISO file over to that drive (or at least the information)...while keeping any future restore simple?
For example, if there's a way to trick or "bypass the governor" on that thumb drive so, instead of max file sizes of 4gb or whatever it is, I can bring over the full file? Thanks for your thoughts and most especially your help.
