Does Bing have a mobile friendly test page like Google? Be interesting to see if they agree.

I hadn't noticed the words mobile friendly earlier, but that could have been the result of not so many sites not being mobile friendly.

Been seeing this at least a week.

From the link Lucy gave, it's Interesting Bing also suggests responsive design over a separate mobile version site (as Google does.)

That's interesting, a site I changed to my html5 responsive template two weeks ago as yesterday is showing some internal pages as mobile-friendly however not the index and a couple of others.

Most interesting is that I have an example.co.uk using my 15 year old template and example.uk with my new template, they are ranked #1 and #2. The domain name is the same word, the sites are completely different, yesterday I 301'd the co.uk to .uk, it'll be interesting to see how fast they pick up on that.

I've noticed that Google shows my site as being mobile friendly but Bing doesn't. I'm using the "vary" user-agent header to let Google know.

Absolutely. We don't often talk about windows phones or tablets, but they are gaining marketplace at a steady rate, and they all default to Bing.

Also, M$ has been making a huge effort to consolidate user logins the way Google does. Windows10 takes another important step in this direction syncing account data between devices, and of course they all use Bing as default.

I actually use Bing as my default SE on my Android phone. I like the rewards :)

But someone must, because I've seen the ads. TV advertising for the Windows tablet comes across as a malicious parody of all Windows product development ever ... and apparently it works.

I'm seeing most of my pages come up as mobile-friendly in Bing now. What it makes me wonder though is how much this status actually impacts rankings in Bing. I'm seeing plenty of sites ranking above mobile-friendly sites for various terms so, obviously, it just one consideration in the ranking algorithm (if it's a ranking factor at all). Who knows, perhaps for now it's just a label.

I'd love to make similar observations where Google is concerned but pages that rank well in Bing can't even be found in Google so who knows what's going on there? Oh ya, nobody! ;)

@ webcentric - Have we heard an announcement from Bing that they are giving ranking weight to mobile-friendly pages? I haven't heard this yet. Google says they will start giving better ranking to mobile-friendly pages in mobile search April 21st, so *possibly* Bing may also at some point in the future.
