Microsoft Outlook on-the-web Updated

Microsoft is updating Outlook for-the-web, which includes dark mode, better category view, expressions \9for those that like to use emojis and GIFs), favourites, multiple calendar search, email snooze, etc.
The roll-outs starts at the end of July.

Oh yes -- The dark mode will really ramp up the usability LOL .. /sarcasm

Not quite understanding this whole sudden push for "Dark Mode" -- /sarcasm

But really -- Blue light is what it is and if our panel makers would step up and innovate once in a while, we wouldn't have the need for the crappy effects of dark mode.

Honestly, I added a dark mode to my sites, (not just gray, this is more complex than that, it took me 2 years to elaborate it), and by night it's a lot more comfortable to read, it also improves rendering on mobile devices, and colored display ads are looking better too, therefor getting more attention and clicks :)

Also, 65% of my visitors are opting for this dark mode, so I guess people enjoy it.

I have been using HIGH CONTRAST for YEARS ... vision problems ..., but it is so much easier to read white text on black than the other way around. Less stressful on the eyes since a computer screen is illuminated and a book page (or magazine, etc) is NOT.

Then again ... there's a sense of retro about "dark" and humans seem to like re-inventing the wheel over and over. (sigh)
