Those on the latest insider preview of Windows 11 (21H2 Pro, OS build 22000.71) have given us a bit of an insight into the OS.

I don't plan to install the preview build, but i'm happy to read the comments from the reviewers.

Microsoft might have been better off to ditch W10 and run with W10X instead.

As it is, we have W10 with elements of W10X sprinkled about in the mix.
Instead of calling it W11, they should have called W10 1/4, because that is precisely what it is.

The config/admin area (like Apps for instance) looks like what you would find on an Android, but only written with frames. (everything has a border now, whereas before, everything didn't have a border.
The very back end configs UI ( i.e. tick boxes) still looks like something you would find in W7.

And it's slow ... Added telemetry has slowed it beyond the slowness of W10.
It's much less intuitive than W10 ... Bloated would be a better description.

Microsoft painted the walls, moved the furniture about a bit, and put all of the pots and the pans into different cupboards.
Everything is still there, but turn the lights on first before you go poking about with it because you might just stub your toe.

Control panel is exactly the same as it was in 10, 8.1, 8, 7, vista, XP, and so forth.
Side panel menu in settings are the same, except what used to be at the bottom, is now at the top in the list. (Windows update is at the bottom now, and System is now at the top)
