Windows 10 Insiders Seeing Chrome and Firefox Browser Interrupts

Microsoft Windows 10 insiders are seeing a test from Microsoft where it interrupts a user installing Firefox or Chrome browsers. The interrupt prompts users that Microsoft Edge is a faster and safer browser.
Wouldn't this fall under the concept of offering more choice to the user?
Inquiring minds and all that happy stuff.

The prompts are included in versions of Windows 10 that trial novel future features.
Guess I don't have that version. I often install/uninstall various browsers and test drive.

Yeah, it's a test, and only Insiders would see it. If adopted, it may come into the regular Windows Tuesday updates.
I don't think it's so bad, and could be a lot worse. It's no worse than Google and Chrome has done at every turn on the Net.

It is an "insiders" only thing..which MS have said ( no doubt due to the bad publicity it has caused them, and also given what happened to them over lack of "browser choice" ) will probably not be included in the "push" to general users [theregister.co.uk...]
