Ive attempted to make a profound statement at his passing, Shakespeare would struggle.
I am so sorry.

@Sgt_Kickaxe Great idea! I lost a good friend three years ago to pancreatic cancer - he only lasted a few months after getting the news. It may very well be the most deadly cancer there is.
It's people like Steve Jobs that push innovation through those giant leaps. At least in some areas, we'll be 'relegated' to the 'regular' innovation curve. Guys like that are very few and far between.

What's the betting that there's already a huge stack of future product ideas filed away somewhere in a back office at One Infinite Loop?

"In most people's vocabularies, design means veneer. It's interior decorating. It's the fabric of the curtains of the sofa.
"But to me, nothing could be further from the meaning of design. Design is the fundamental soul of a human-made creation that ends up expressing itself in successive outer layers of the product or service."

It seems that many who are the best at what they do, leave us earlier. It's a sad day.

It's amazing, reading and listening to Steve Jobs it seems that much of what he said can be summed up as "fortune favours the bold". That quoute comes from Alexander the Great who lived more than a thousand years ago.
Many things change but the basic principles remain forever. RIP Steve Jobs.

RIP Steve. One of the greatest person in his time.
I am having a vision that sooner or later, Apple will have a product that will be named after and in honor to Steve... We could not deny his contribution to Apple. If he has been so soft with his goal, then there is no Apple...

I'd love to see a link on the apple site asking for donations towards pancreatic cancer research.
The maker of those black T Shirts that Jobs wore is donating $20.00 per shirt sold to cancer research until Oct. 16 according to an article [startribune.com] in this mornings Minneapolis Star/Tribune newspaper.
To honor Jobs, the St. Croix Shop has decided to donate $20 per sweater to the American Cancer Society for sales through Oct. 16, Amster said. Jobs died of complications from pancreatic cancer.

I think Steve Jobs had one huge lesson for the computer and consumer electronics industries, best shown by the iPod. Make is simple to use. Less is more as far as interfaces go.
This also applies to websites. This is a good time to think about how we can learn from the principles Steve Jobs enforced at Apple.

I must say I got mad when I watched the News and the great Steve Jobs was dead, be cause we still have no cure for that disease, I think its insane that nothing is done about it. Still its a very sad moment, I wish the best for the Family.
