I use chrome to check my google positioning for my site. So, it's not signed in to my google account and I clear the browsing history before closing it. I just checked one of my SERPS with it and without clicking the result my realtime visitor tracking showed me as being on the site with the search that I just performed. This is without viewing the site preview or in fact even moving the mouse outside the search box.
I found that to be a bit spooky. It doesn't do it with Firefox.
Interestingly, it doesn't show as a page view or a hit in my other, not realtime tracking.
It only does it if I am #1 for the search, I have just noticed. Is that odd or what?
