Does Landing Page domain have to match Display & Destination domain?

So the Display domain has to be the same as the Destination domain...but do they both have to be the same as the landing page domain?

Or as long as the destination domain redirects to the landing page, is that allowed?

displayURL.com > destinationURL.com > landingURL.com

where

displayURL.com = landingURL.com

From display URL policy perspective, nobody really cares about your destination URL, but the very ending landing page URL, the one that shows in people’s browsers.

no matter how different your destination url and display url -- as long as your display and landing url have the same root domain you should be good to go.

Ok just to confirm. If the display url had a different root domain (via a redirect) to the landing page url, then that's definitely not allowed?

yep.. not allowed...

ok thanks. I think the correct way to put it is that the landing domain has to be the same as the display domain? The display 'url' (eg www.mydomain.com) does not have to be the same as the landing url (eg [mydomain.com...]
