- Update your privacy policy page, to list what information you are collecting from visitors/members/clients, why, and with whom this information is being shared (or not). Also including your use of cookie, as well as the use of cookie made by third parts which are involved with your site (like Adsense).
- Disable personalized ads for EU visitors : Allow & block ads > Content > All my sites > EU User consent
- Display a banner informing user about the use of cookie, with link to your privacy policy page. Ideally, it would be good if give the option to visitors to refuse cookies, and in that case to replace adsense ads, by something else.

With this, you "should" be fine, until the upcoming ePrivacy regulation, which will refine the cookie consent part, and "should" delegate it to the web browser.

Thanks for your answer, But how can i give the option to visitor to refuse cookies? I have blog in blogger, part of my visitors from EU, Is it possible?

Nobody knows yet. That's why these discussions are long.

However, there is the possibility that Adsense itself will take action against your account if you choose to ignore these privacy issues.

It's not that difficult to be compliant.

I'm quite lost on this topic too. I got the email from AdSense today and went in and changed the setting to "Non-personalized ads" for EU.

Does someone have a link to a good privacy policy that is updated for EU GDPR that I could look at and use parts for reference on my sites? I need to update my privacy policies for sure.

Not sure yet on the cookie and consent part, I will do that next after the policy. I'm doing things one step at a time.

I am in the US and dont 'target' EU citizens - - from what I've read so far, I don't need to do anything.

@joeychgo - It's not true that because you're in the US you don't need to do anything. The internet has no boundaries. People from all over the world may access your website.

If you publish Adsense you are required to obtain your users' consent to the use of cookies. For more information about his policy, see the Google EU User Consent Policy [google.com]

If you do not comply with GDPR, it may not be immediate, but you risk eventual action taken against your account(s).
