What are your strategies for improving mobile revenue?

What if any are your plans for dealing with the rise of ad blockers?

Why do some sites have to put "Sponsored Links" or "Advertisement" above the ads and others don't? If this is so important that it will result in a warning if not done why isn't it automatically implemented into the ad like the X and Arrow in the upper right corner?

so you can't think of anything that you might actually like to ask? You are 100% satisfied with Google Adsense? If not - why not? What questions need to be ask?

If we are based in the U.S. and 99.8% of our traffic is from the U.S., then why do we need to add the EU cookie notice? Or do we really? Because I still have not been officially notified that this is now required.

When is Adsense going to get around to making some decent looking ads and get rid of that horrible looking giant arrow?

Mobile responsive link units, they have been "actively thinking" about this for months and nothing.

Adsense needs to step up to the plate and make some prime time advertising for publishers.

OK here is another one, I know you only get 2 so I will take one from the posters that said same as netmeg

What if anything is Adsense doing to speed up the load time of ads?

I spent a lot of time to make my sites fast and the ads load slower that sh#t Especially some image ads.

Slower loading pages have higher RPM because on a fast page visitors scroll past the ad before they load.

I would ask them about the ad targeting. What's happened to it? I used to get great ads, but now I just get the same old ads that follow me around for days

Somes sites work great with interest-based ads, and some do better with tightly-targeted ads about the subject matter -- but they don't seem to trust the webmasters to work out which is best for their own sites anymore. We just get what we're given.

They should put a bit more trust in the webmasters again... and let us work out which stuff works best for ourselves.
And bring back those wrappers that we used to have in the HTML, which we could put around the actual subject matter, to help target the ads even more.

their ad targeting is lousy compared to media.net

I totally agree about ad targetting, for me it seems to be awful however what it's like for IBAs I do not know.

Smart pricing seems to be all over the place, lower click values from lower cost countries is one thing however there seems to be huge spreads within specific countries notably the USA and UK.

Why in the everlovin blue eyed world can't I customize a dashboard that includes the metrics that are important to *me* instead of the ones that Google wants me to think are important. (Countries don't matter to me at all. CTR, Clicks, Impressions do) AdWords lets you choose what columns you want to see in both the console and the AdWords Editor. Analytics lets you make multiple dashboards with any reports you want. But AdSense? No.

Updates on the current status of combating ad-clicking bot traffic and traffic quality would not go amiss either. I suspect they overcompensate on the clawbacks to keep the advertisers happy. Will they admit it? Of course not.

How about letting us know in the AdReview Center if an ad landing page is mobile friendly or not? Up to 80% or more of my traffic on some sites is mobile; I don't want to send those people to non-mobile landing pages.

I would also make the comment that if you want us to use DFP, you need to work on making it more user-friendly. Or a Lite version.

(I don't care if we only get two; I got more than two questions, and someone else can take some of my extras if they can't think of something)

Is there any "income smoothing" in Adsense?

Why is our cut of income from normal Adsense ads and Adsense for Search different?

What plans to mitigate the effects of AdBlockers in the future?

Why is Google.com whitelisted by default in various adblocking software but the publishers who use Google ads are not whitelisted by default?

What happened to the Lindberg baby? Where is Lord Lucan? Who killed JFK?

(You're more likely to get straight answers to those than any of the questions suggested above.)

Why no responsive horizontal adlink units?

Why haven't I gotten the EU cookie notification email? Do I have to comply with that policy?

Why is Google.com whitelisted by default in various adblocking software but the publishers who use Google ads are not whitelisted by default?

I think we know the answer to that one. Google has handed over $$$$$ to Eyeo to whitelist its own properties. It hasn't negotiated the same deal for its publishers. Which only shows what a protection racket this adblocking (or selective adblocking) actually is.

It hasn't negotiated the same deal for its publishers.

They haven't because they can't. Prior to making the ad request on AdSense publisher properties, there's no way of knowing whether the ad will be "clean" or not (it could be a text ad, it could also be a Flash ad with audio). On Google.com, all ads are relatively non-intrusive text ads that are considered "good ads" by the blockers (opinions will vary).

It's a concern for AdSense publishers, so +1 for any question on ad blockers.

They haven't because they can't.

They could if they wanted to. Simply remove Flash/video ads from the network. Or give publishers the option of displaying only text and image ads, at two ads per page rather than three, if they want to be included.

I too would like to hear their thoughts on adblocking. Not because I expect a genuine answer, more because I'm curious about how they'll spin it, given how quiet they've been about it.

Ok - there are a few stories about this keynote out there.

Summary:
-they were under embargo on several features/things in the works. Mainly the new deal with Yahoo. They were extremely tied in what they could talk about.

-Google can not/won't require you to have a EU cookie notice on your site. Our own Webwork, held their feet to the fire and got to that bottom line. They recommended you have the notice, but can't/won't require it at this time.

-AdBlocking. They talked and talked and talked....and said little other than we know now. Not alot that Google can do about it, but it is top of mind.

They recommended you have the notice,

But did they say why they recommend that you do ? Because if you are not an adsense publisher based in the EU, the EU doesn't require you to have it ( they couldn't obviously, they can only require that of EU based adsense publishers )..and the EU never "recommended" that any non EU publishers had it.."The Requirement" ( it was originally a "requirement" ) was insisted upon by Google..now they said that they "recommend it"..but why ?..the EU doesn't care if you are not an adsense publisher based in the EU..The EU had nothing to do with what Google required or recommends..

Or were Google just playing games with the EU and trying to stir up anti EU feeling amongst adsense publishers from outside of the EU ?
