You can place your adsense code on on another persons website with their permission.

One thing to consider is that the other accounts may show adverts that you may not want on the site.

You may have to ask them to block the offending advert - which they may not want to do, esp. if they have other sites which that advert would be okay on.

If the account of one of these individuals is shut down by Google, will the others be able to continue using their accounts on that same domain?

If the person doesn't have an adsense account already, then no. Why should they ? It would be open to abuse. I could claim that I own Bing and want adsense on it, and then put my code on a spammy site.

Seeing that these people will not have sole responsibility of the site including all content and materials only confirms my thinking. I cannot see Google saying yes, can you ?

The API gets round that problem I think as their signup process must be different, looks like it anyway since designed for many working on one site and mentions referral etc. clearly if you have 40 bloggers working on your site they need to signup via the API using your site.

Unless I am missing something, I can see this being abused. What is to stop someone signing up on there, and then use it on another site without ever using it on the site in question?

What if they can sign up via the API, can it tell if you've been previously been banned, or already have an account?

As it is not a technical question, maybe the ASA will answer it. ;)
