Alright guys... I'm in my first month I have done over 200,000 views with my four videos I've posted. People really seem to like my videos and I'd like to try to make some money from it.

I can't apply to become a Youtube partner due to the fact that I don't have the rights to the footage and audio I'm editing. So right now I'm figuring, why not set up a blog somewhere, post my videos on it and sign up with Adsense.

Is this a possibility? If so, is this the best way to go? Sorry I'm a noob and a lot more of an artist than I'm a business man.

I appreciate any help, thank you.

So... you don't own the videos, but you're looking to post them as highlights/edits on a blog?

This question seems to be less about Adsense, and more about your ability to post these videos. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)

If you own the rights to the videos, Adsense may be a great way to earn income from your blog. However, some video/music site owners may tell you that users on such sites are not always "click happy."

Sounds like thin ice to me. Google is not going to let you monetize anything re: adsense that is owned by someone else. You'll probably be under the pro sports teams radars but you won't be under theirs.

I wouldn't do it. Write descriptive text about these video clips, drop team names, players names, game locations, etc.. liberally throughout. Use your own words and you'll be fine. Use your youtube exposure to drive traffic to your blog and it could work. Don't try to make money off the actual videos but instead use them as a tool to bring in the traffic.
