Filtering an image advertiser

How can I get the URL for the filter?

Is the AdSense preview tool working with image ads?

Since I recently enabled image ads, I now have an advertiser who shows up on virtually every page on the site, and I am seeing a good CTR but eCPM has been on a constant slide and I'd like to remove this very ugly ad and see if my CTR/eCPM doesn't tank.

But there is no URL in the ad, obviously I can't click it, and from what I recall the preview tool doesn't display image ads.

How do I determine where the heck this image ad goes?

You can try looking at it in Firefox, and *very carefully* right clicking on the ad, selecting copy link location, and then pasting it into Notepad or something similar, and seeing if you can find an url in it.

I just gave up recently and switched to all text. Hated to do it, but there were a couple ads I didn't want on my site, and they were on *every single page* and there was no easy to block them, no support anymore whatsoever, so I just turned image ads off for good.

Heh, unfortunately, the ads are in flash or obfuscated javascript or something as they allow for user input in a text area...

well, I use to search sites with the same flash ads (as a rule there are a lot of sites with the same stupid image ads). When I found "my" ad I just click - it's a shame but I have to do it in order to get rid of ugly ads(:

I ended up resorting to just doing a lot of detective work and finding out who the company was by googling their slogan in the advert and suchlike. Once you've found all of the companies websites just put a blanket ad ban from their domain and they will vanish in a few hours.

What I find annoying about these ads is that (for me anyway) they always completely irrelevant, normal image ads are well targeted but the animated flash style ones always have nothing whatsoever to do with my sites.
