I am one of those website owners who got lost my Google AdSense acct years ago, therefore I have not really researched for possible methods of getting it back or another one. I have discovered that Google watches clickthrus based on demographics...which I think was the final straw for my loss. What I am trying to learn BEFORE attempting another Google AdSense venture is 'Can I promote my new site using traffic exchanges, etc.' Such programs reward members with points or credits which members use to advertise their own sites. Webpages being promoted through these methods would NOT have any references concerning 'wanted' clicks on Google AdSense ads.

From the TOS:

Clicks on Google ads must result from genuine user interest. Any method that artificially generates clicks or impressions on your Google ads is strictly prohibited. These prohibited methods include but are not limited to repeated manual clicks or impressions, using robots, automated click and impression generating tools, third-party services that generate clicks or impressions such as paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, autosurf, and click-exchange programs, or any deceptive software.

I don't know what exactly you're referring to (find your post a little difficult to parse) but it strikes me that any kind of "traffic exchange program" wouldn't really count as genuine user interest. I sure wouldn't risk MY account on such.

Moreover, unless you opt out of it, you're likely to get CPM ads as well, and I'd think that artificially pumping up the impressions like that might be considered a different sort of click fraud - without the click.

Thanks netmeg...what I would be promoting is my site's main index page itself which would have a Directory of content informative webpages. Thus giving visitors the option togo to pages they were interested in which would would have Google Adsense ads. The content informative pages would NOT be promoted themselves via any type of GPT methods but would have links accessable from the index page. -- I am also thinking about getting involved with Social Networks, would using these put up RED flags to Google if us social people talk about what each of us are into with our websites, etc.

The social network thing - probably depends on how you do it. I certainly mention one of my major sites on twitter (it even has its own twitter account for updates now) and I doubt that would be a problem.

I really don't know about paying for traffic in these exchange programs, because I've never done it. If your traffic doesn't tend to convert for advertisers, it's probably going to have the living daylights smartpriced out of it, so you might be better off looking for other monetization ideas to fall back on.
