For years now, whenever I want to add AdSense to a new page, I go through my stats, and remove one of my lowest impression channels.
The thing is, I also remove the ad from that page, because I don't want to be wondering forever what is going on with that page's performance. Not getting that feedback is totally unacceptable. A whole bunch of pages with ZERO feedback? No way. Google would get their ads on many more of my pages, if they would give me more channels.
Stuck at 200, and wondering why. If Google wants to limit us to putting ads on just our best performing pages, this is one way to do it.
Does anyone know what the criteria is for getting more channels? It certainly doesn't seem to be based upon need.

Yes, mine has been increased to 500 as well last year
Me too and I only use mine 99% for root urls (i.e. example.com).
I would need thousands if I tracked as many individual pages as some do, and I am not saying anything is wrong with that, it would be a very time-consuming excercise for me trying to analyse so many pages over so many sites.
We’ve been experimenting with more channels for a small set of publishers. Thanks in large part to your feedback, we’re trying to extend this test to more publishers, especially those who we know are already using channels most heavily. The reason we can’t just roll this out to everyone is that we need to make sure that our ad serving and reporting continues to run smoothly.
