I've discovered a site that's so against the Adsense TOS its incredible, they've been reported but still the ads are showing. They have the following content on their site:

- Extreme adult content
- Violence pictures
- Incitement to racial hatred
- discussion of how to harrass individuals and companies for fun
- Hacking
- Organisation of DDos attacks for fun

and other nasty stuff. I can't believe google are letting these people make money off this stuff. Is there any way I can somehow alert someone at google so they are banned? (other than report URL!)

I wont post the url, if anyone has a strong stomach I can PM.

click the 'ads by google' part of their ads and you get taken to a page that includes a link to a feedback form (bottom). Have you tried that?

Ah good idea, will try that now...

If I was an advertiser I wouldn't want to be paying for clicks from this site!

The wheels of justice turn slowly, but they do turn.

I also copy pasted (didnt click) the urls of the companies that advertised on the site and contacted them directly to let them know what kind of site they are paying to advertise on.

Wow. Are you an AdSense publisher? Is this site a competitor of yours or something?

Yes, I've seen it take two months for a reported site to no longer show Adsense, however, content violations seem to have a lower priority than violations that directly cheat advertisers.

I was thinking of reporting a site.

On this site it's not clear at all which bits are adverts and which are content as content and ads are styled in exactly the same way and intermingled in a "click if you are feeling lucky if you are above the fold" sort of fashion. Lots of infringements of the TOS.

Though it's also apparently the biggest adsense publisher. Do you reckon it's worth reporting?

If it's the biggest adsense publisher you'll just be spinning your wheels.

If it makes you feel better though - by all means report them.

I have seen an increase of geosites with adsense. ALL are MFA.

In what way is this in violation of the AdSense Terms or Program Policies?

Wasn't there some stuff a little while back about not deceiving visitors into clicking your ads and making it possible to tell ads from content at least for the expert visitors? They were probably guidelines.

Yes, I'd be wheel spinning on this one.

I don't know, was there?

They were probably guidelines.

Probably guidelines? What does that mean?

The reason I ask is I remember reading about two sites that Google either promoted as a case study or some type of award winner that each had basically this type of layout. If that's no longer allowed, I would think it would be fairly easy to find whatever announcement or Terms update that was posted.

But I just checked and both those sites are still there with the same format.

It was a guideline. See this earlier post containing a link to Adsense blog:
[webmasterworld.com...] I don't know what a "guideline" is but personally take them as rules to be on the safe side.

I can't find anything in the program policies or TOS about this. Though the TOS is becoming difficult to read with it's lack of formatting so might have missed it.

No, I'm not. You'd probably be shocked if you saw the site yourself. Its not an MFA, it's a site with Gore (death and mutilation), extreme #*$!ography, hacking and other stuff.

I don't compete with that!

Good, the Adsense has gone, Im assuming because they were banned. Justice was served (as long as those advertisers got their money back!).

Always wondered why Goog can't just exclude such sites from their index. So I tried to search for "gore images" and out popped Al Gore. Sigh... just turned on SafeSearch.

I just reported a site that streams thousands of movies, some that haven't even left the theaters, using the ad feedback method you used. They get a LOT of traffic and it's hard to believe Google hasn't noticed the illegal content. Let's see how justice works when it comes to the huge sites.
