How about we change the name of this forum to "stats-stuck-today", since that's pretty much occupying the top 5 threads?

I was into this "adsense is stuck" theory until I realized that adsense just sucked for my sites in the past week. I guess I should create a "Adsense sucks Sept 12th, 2008" thread. Yes, yes, I know, it's all my fault and all that.

I see it going in waves with the poor performance sometimes correlating with the stuck and sometimes not. But an especially good eCPM day is inevitably followed by a few bad days which indicates something not very smart if this is "smart pricing."

It's as though it's a "good performance penalty," which certainly could be applied more subtly and cause less suspicion on the part of publishers.

If you're going to skim it should be less noticeable, even if it is ostensibly done on the behalf of advertisers, an explanation which will only satisfy the fanboys.
