I was running the "Show data by targeting type - contextual or placement by individual ad" report and seeing a significant amount of "Placement" type ads. I also noticed on some high traffic pages an ad eCPM for Placement type ads of $0.03! I assume this means the Advertiser is only paying G something like .06 per 1000 impressions?! Meanwhile contextual ads on the same page(s) are showing eCPMs 10-100x that. Some pages with lower volume are showing eCPM of $0.00. Am I missing something here or does Adwords really allow them to bid that low, or are they showing up by mistake?
Now that we just finally got the Ad Review Center capability(wherein we had almost 200 'placement ads), I'm getting ready to blovk everything, since I don't know which are paying so little.
