Reached a new goal of $100/day... Now this is pretty awesome, but I wonder how much higher (realistically) earnings can go?

Is there unlimited room to grow with Adsense, or do you ever reach a point where you top out?

Has anyone managed the jump for 10k/month to 20k/month after having though "that's the maximum I can reach"?

If someone managed to get to 10k per month in the first place, it's a fair bet that they knew they could progress higher and higher.

Of course, there could be limits. If advertisers' budgets are maxed out for your niche, it'll be difficult to earn more and more. But just because you've reached $100/day doesn't mean you can't get $200/day or $300. Keep at it. Congratulations, by the way.

At 100$ average myself sometimes I make a poor 40$ on a bad day, and 200$ on a good day.

I noticed that I have to try and get CPM ads to play out 50% of my earnings to make it close to 200$ :)

Mine is pretty steady... fluctuates between $85-125, and usually no big swings. Actually, this month almost every day has been consistently above $100.

Now, if I could get up to $300/day, that would be just awesome. That's over 100k a year. That's a nice income. I know it's possible. I just have so little time to work since I'm going to college. But sometimes I think... why go to college when you could make more staying at home and working?

AdSense is not the limiting factor. Get more real traffic to your website and you will earn more (generally speaking).

There is no limit. Be prepared for up and down fluctations with the goal being that the average on whole goes up. Avoid too pie in the sky goals as this may lead to making too many changes, too dramatically, too fast.

Diversify, more websites that are QUALITY and good content the better. Too many, and they are low quality can kill you.

The game is about quality to your viewers first, adsense figures will follow.

I have one quality website. I'm an expert in the area and am known for, well, that one subject. I have articles in magazines, communicate with authors and professionals in my field, and attend events related to my topic as well.

I just don't have time to become an expert and immerse myself in another field to produce as much high-quality content.

My website relates to my business, my hobby, and a large part of my life. In that way, I know what to write about, I know what content is good, what other people will find useful, etc., because I am part of the field. If I was an outsider that merely wrote on the subject, the quality wouldn't be nearly so high.

I will definately expand in my niche, but I can't see branching out into a completely different topic; It just wouldn't work as well.

A small niche can top out - the advertisers simply aren't willing to pay for more traffic when you grow your visitors.
So add a new website in a different niche! :)

I hit $100 per day 3 times this year, today I'm lucky if I break 30. Fierce competition for high serps is a never ending battle.

My theory is value of content added and declining importance of old content.

I can add content producing more income, but the older content declines.

So there is a point where so much old content declines, that it's the same as the new content added.

At this point the maximum of income is reached.

Of course there are limits to online (Adsense) earnings.
There are advertiser budgets that can run out, the number of website visitors is limited to some extend and there are competitors that fight for their share. But the limits are so high that they are not relevant. If you are at $100 a day, that could just be the tip of the iceberg.

Hi Jettero, I think your theory applies to a one-man one-site show.
But what if you hire others to make sites/content and you leverage your business? In that case the limit is really somewhere high in the sky...

There is a limit to what you can earn from one website, especially if traffic is from a country with few internet advertisers

I had several attempts to teach people how to do it. As an exchange for my teaching, about 30% of the income.

I made a real very tight selection, but no success unitl now.

My newest attempt in this direction, I try to search translators to translate my site for 50% of the advertising income from the translated page.

Interesting approach Jettero.
One note: remember that we are making free content for Webmaster world! And they are making money from every word you and I are typing right now. Perhaps it is not always about teaching/paying people to do something. Sometimes they just want to do it for free and you got to find out who wants to do what.
