I realize this kid might have known it was your website without you having to tell him (since it was related to your university), but his destructive attitude proves my point that the less people who know about your websites, the safer you are.

It was an accident waiting to happen. You give a student a poor grade - He goes screws with your site......
Before anything, it's a good idea to read Google's AdSense Policies [google.com] and their Terms and Conditions [google.com]. Although you're certain the reason is because of malicious clicking, read through the policies anyway to make sure it may not be something else.
