Ok guys Im a newbie here but Ive been reading and cant figure it out yet.. I have 3 sites just launched one a few hours ago, I barely get any traffic though 1st site has been around since May second in Sept and #rd today.

But my Google ads per click have been paying me 0.01 and sometimes 0.03 even though I saw on a thread that i can use Smart pricing.

All my sites have used Bretts 26 Steps - good content not fluff. So how can I kill off these low paying ads, I sell ebooks too so Im fine with less ads, just want a click worth at least 0.20 and not 0.01.

It is annoying today i only had 311 impressions and 1 click.
1st site = Recipes & Food Category Page 1 in MSN, YAHOO and Pg3 in G.
2nd Site = Caribbean Travel / Nowhere Anywhere yet
3rd Site = Real Estate / Nowhere Anywhere yet

HELP HELP Smart Pricing

Welcome to WW.

Give it time - Adsense needs up to six weeks to fully grasp the meaning/context of a page. It will try different ads and see which ads (topics) actually get clicked. Until then you will see a lot of low-paying ads.

MFAs typically write excellent ad copy (and hence get clicked) but provide a disappointing user experience. Thus, people stop clicking on ads on your site. That's why you see decreasing CTR on sites plagued by MFAs. But you hardly see any clicks, and the reason may be targetting (Adsense trying to figure out what works and what not).

SmartPricing, on the other hand, seems to be an instrument to adjust pricing on sites that have been around for some time. Your sites are new, so SmartPricing should not apply at all.

So I don't think that your problem is MFA or SmartPricing right now. These problems may come at a later point in time, though.

Thanks like every newborn I am just jumping to get started off, Ive realized that Google Adsense has really come to gripes with recipes all over my site the first one that it is.

Ok Cool I now understand.

But In the interim Ive been finding some of the Fleas as Ann calls them and I will pick them off.
