New site same niche

Hi,
I created a new site in the same niche as my previous old one but with new unique content.

It seem like the ads are not targeted well and cost per click in old is 10 cents while in the new site it is .05

so my earnings are half.

Does adsense take some time to display proper ads?

If its any help, I launched my site at the end of June and rapidly increased the number of pages showing Adsense over July and August - since which time I've only had time to monitor the stats. I was expecting to see my income level off, but it has continued to increase. In fact, it seems that the less I do the better it gets!

How long have the pages been online? I have noticed that the bot may need to spider the page a couple of times on occasions, but the ads are usually OK after a day or so.

If you are seeing badly targeted ads, it may be that there are certain words or phrases on the page that are triggering the ads. You might like to try section targeting, or consider re-wording the page to get more appropriate ads.
