I did some stat today by dividing the all number of clicks by the all amount of money earned and I got the average of $0.2 per click is it low, normal, high? anyway of improving that without changing the niche?

Reducing the number of ads you show per page will possibly increase your average CPC - but you may make less money.

It's the total that matters not the average!

Without changing niche, I'd suggest you research to get an idea of what the best paying advertisers in and arount your subject area are. Then see if you can enhance your content to make it more attractive to these advertisers.

Incidently, I think you're probably doing well at $0.20 a click.

My average CPC for 2005 was $0.21. So far for 2006 I'm doing a about half of that.

I do indeed wish I was back where you are now... I'd be drinking much better wine! ;-)

Maybe thats the problem chapman - the better the wine, the better you work the next day! Poor wine = poor performance the day after!

Looks okay-ish to me. Apparently, there are many folks that are in the $0.02 to $0.05 area, which also can work for you if you have substantial traffic.

Put lots of little impulse-buy crap next to the cashier. Put lots of sugary cereals about 2-foot off the floor so they'll be eye-level for little kids. Put the more expensive stuff in the center of the store and the better deals around the periphery. Bait and switch. Offer 2-for-1 specials.
