Not sure if this has been covered or not, but I was wondering if anyone could clear up a matter regarding the programme policies.
I refer in particular to this bit...
"Site may not include: Violence, racial intolerance, or advocate against any individual, group, or organsation "
Much of my content is written by visitors to the site (lucky me), and whilst most of it is appropriate and can be published with some tidying up and a little bit of tweaking, occasional I get content that I would really like to publish partly because it is interesting and partly because it is a bit controversial and could open up a good debate.
However, I feel that the content may be categorised as "advocating against a group" and I guess my question is - can I pull the ads from the page with the questionable content, or does the fact that my site may include a page that may fall foul of the T&C's affect the suitability of the whole site, even though the page in question does not contain any google ads.
I understand that sometimes it may be a bit of a grey area, but I tend to err on the side of caution as the programme is my sole source of income at the moment.
Sorry the post is a bit long winded, but any help to clarify this would be gratefully appreciated.
BUT - if you get people losing control and upsetting each other, you cannot rule out someone reporting you to Adsense out of plain old fashioned spite - and if your site was in breech, you could be cut off without a penny.
Unlikely - but possible. Without a complaint, I don't think you need worry, unless prohibited topics are a regular feature.
Personally, if in doubt, I'd keep Adsense to pages I control - forums, opinion pages and such rarely get keyword-specific enough to generate good adsense ads, and most forums have a pretty poor clickthru rate, anyway.

Thanks for your feedback on this. The article in this case was about a prominent religion and fairly recent events, I'll leave you to imagine the scenario. As it happens I didn't publish although I very much wanted to.
Any thoughts on the page versus site thing though? If I take google ads on a page, can I have what I like there?
Thanks
