In the last 2 or 3 days my CTR has suddenly increased above my expectations. I am also using a Free Adsense Tracker "Income Logger". I got about 25 clicks in a day by the same IP Address. While in the whole day I am getting about 50-60 clicks. By finding on the internet, that IP Address was from India and was a shared IP Address. Do I need to send an email to google support about this. Can I tell google about the Adsense Tracker I am using. Please Help!

I would let them know - someone recently got banned for invalid clicks from India. If you think it is click fraud, let them know - then have the KitKat.

"that IP Address was from India and was a shared IP Address"

Kit Kat is very popular in India. We snack on this wafer chocolate while we click ads. Helps us relax and gives us a break from all these crappy sites we got to contend with.

Write to Google and tell them quickly that you have been click attacked! I am sure they will quickly reverse the earnings and give you a break. ;-)

Best Wishes from India.

can't google see the adsense tracker code on your page? ymmv, but as long as you don't alter the ad itself, you should be o.k.(?)

we don't know if you are targeting traffic from india to begin with, but it sounds like you should email adsense support asap, requesting a click audit, based on the info from your adsense tracker.

I'm stuck at home and now I want a Kit Kat and a Guinness.

No Kit Kats and no Guinness! Guess I'll have to drive 2 blocks to the supermarket and get both.

Then I can take my afternoon nap.

The shared IP address could be because they are originating from the computer lab of a school or a college. Might not be Click Fraud at all.

But to be on the safe side, yeah, I guess you need to let Big Brother know.

I had a KitKat today. Thanks to this thread I now that that annoying jingle stuck in my head.... "gimme a break, gimme a break, break me off a piece of that KitKat bar..."

I would definately tell Google if you have suspicious activity. That way if you do get banned or something happens to your account, you have proof that you contacted them to try to correct the problem...
