Are there any worthwhile subtopics on entertainment/celebrity-sector?

So that there would be lot of advertisers and clicks worth more than 0,01

Title really says it all: Are there any worthwhile subtopics on entertainment/celebrity-sector? So that there would be lot of advertisers and clicks would be more than 0,01.

Let's say I have a website on celebrity Z, and I'm getting generic celebrity ads, pretty much worth nothing.

Are there any particular sides/topics/categories of this type website to focus/emphasize?

(not my major adsense sector, but wanting to know more, maybe I'm missing something)

Seriously, do you think any one will tell you on what topic to built your next site, when they can do it themselves?

I know a few good sub-niches but I sure don't want more competing publishers!

I had until 2001 to 2005 a site for a film project.

Several thousand visitors a month, but so low

CTR - only 10% of a normal page
EPC - only 40% of a normal page
CPM - only 4% of a normal page

that I gave the site up.

I do not know any area less interesting for AdSense

Nobody is building any sites here (yet at least ;-D) - there are hundreds of aspects/themes to cover from active celebrity - just curious if someone wants to enlighten me/us about which aspects may be worth something, and thus worth extra focus.

Of course it is not in anybody's best interests to reveal any information - so how about closing to entire forum then? ;-D

Hmmm, I obviously did not read this the same way as you did.

I believe alephh is asking if there may be a different way of presentation or obtaining alternative information for this type of site which may generate higher paying ads or CTR.

Am I correct alephh?

That is low CTR :-o

My small celebrity Z site has CTR above 3%, but clicks are worth nothing.

Just one example of what I was wondering about...

Certain celebrities get photographed a lot (stalked basically by the paparazzis). So how about focusing on celebrity - paparazzi - photography theme?

- celebrity (to pull people in)
- paparazzi (to link it all together and to take more tech view on matter)
- photography, technique and equiptment (how difficult shots are made etc)

... Just an idea...

OptiRex: That's correct :-)

My bad, I should have tried to phrase it more clearly.

It is not in anybody's best interests to reveal certain kinds of information. For example the kind of information that is retrieved by investing a lot time, energy and money. And what you do is asking for exactly that kind of information. Those who have worked for years to discover niches that are profitable for them will not reveal them just because a stranger is asking for it. They will tell you to do your own home-work. And if you're lucky they will tell you how to start with that. And since I am in a good mood I will give you a clue that worked for me: celeb widgets.

I think you're already answering your own questions:-)

What kind of cars do they drive?
Where do they live?
Who are their favourite celebrities?
Where do they holiday?

Do you link to their home sites?

Some of these questions may be difficult to answer however have you ever tried contacting any of them direct and asking them alternative stuff?
