Does adsense affects SERP and SEO?

Hi,

I'm pretty new to Adsense, and I have a few qustions. I just recently signed up for adsense. I have one main, quite large content site that generates ~5mil page views/month plus a few smaller sites.

I've been testing adsense on my smaller sites and it seems to do well. But I've been reluctant to include adsense on my main site due to the many "banned from adsense" horror stories i read about, where seemingly innocent webmasters get banned... ie. what can you do to prevent a malicious competitor or michivous kids from repeatedly clicking your adsense ads? nothing really...

my question is this:

- are we (good webmasters) outta luck when this sort of thing happens?
- silly question: does your adsense account affect your google SERP results? ie. if you get banned from adsense for whatever reason (like fake clicks, even tho not your fault), will your SERPs get affected negatively as well?

In my experience , Adsense has no bearing whatsoever on Google SERPS
